Real Deal Invoices ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our invoicing and business management platform, including the mobile app.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:

• Account information: Name, email address, password, company name, and business contact details.
• Business data: Client information, invoices, estimates, expenses, worker records, and product catalogs.
• Payment information: Payment processor credentials (Stripe, PayPal) and bank connections (Plaid) that you authorize us to access.
• Usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, and interaction with our platform features (e.g., 3D Scanner, AI Assistant).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data to operate, maintain, and improve our services, including:

• Processing transactions and managing your subscription.
• Providing customer support and responding to your inquiries.
• Enabling automation features (SMS, WhatsApp) that you explicitly configure.
• Generating estimates and insights via our 3D Scanner and AI Assistant.

3. Data Sharing and Third-Party Processors

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with trusted third-party service providers under strict Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) to facilitate our services:

• Stripe & Plaid: For secure payment processing and bank account verification. We never store raw credit card numbers or bank credentials on our servers.
• Twilio & Meta (WhatsApp): To deliver SMS and WhatsApp automation messages that you explicitly enable and configure.
• OpenAI: To power the "Deal" AI assistant. Prompts are transmitted securely, and we explicitly configure our integration to prevent OpenAI from training its models on your business data.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including AES-256 encryption for sensitive credentials, HTTPS for all data in transit, and strict access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

5. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can manage most of this information directly from your account settings.

6. Account Deletion and Data Retention (App Store / Play Store Compliance)

In compliance with Apple App Store and Google Play policies, you have the right to request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated data. To initiate this process, log in to your account, navigate to Settings > Account, and select "Delete Account". Alternatively, you may email us at daniel@realdealinvoices.com from your registered email address. Upon confirmation, all personal data, business records, and associated metadata will be permanently purged from our active systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial tax records).

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
